Workshop by Living Soil Asia with Vivian Lee
Up next in Living Soil Series by T:>Works' CoThink Lab, join us for an afternoon of sharing and listening to stories that are alive in a Warm Data Lab workshop.
Warm Data Lab creates spaces for conversations across overlapping contexts, helping us sense complexity in new ways. It familiarizes groups of people with the ways in which the contexts of their lives marinate and overlap into each other, and it offers an introduction to the complexity of their own lives so that they may better see the complexity of others. Through this discovery, people begin to see how vital it is to tend to their families, communities, and the land, and they are able to respond to emergencies with warmth.
Warm Data is the relational information that describes the many parts of a system. Complex, systemic challenges are shaped by the interaction of multiple contexts—the economy, nature, politics, culture, technology, etc.—and to effectively address such challenges, we have to understand the transcontextual interdependence. With this awareness, we can shape responses to meet the complexity around us effectively. Without it, we often enact simple responses to complex challenges which in turn create their own problems.
Please note that the workshop space is on the second floor accessible only via stairs.

Vivian’s practice is rooted in soil regeneration, somatic healing, and the interconnection between nature and well-being. As part of Living Soil Asia, she explores how our relationship with land reflects our relationship with the body—examining Singapore’s urban landscape through the lens of ecological mindfulness and sustainable practices.
Vivian trained in Warm Data Lab hosting with Nora Bateson and continues to apply the practice in her everyday life.
Living Soil Asia, part of the Foodscape Collective ecosystem, champions a balanced ecosystem built on equity, care, and regenerative practices. Their mission is to broaden knowledge and accessibility of regenerative methods in Singapore, emphasising a community-oriented, care-based approach. They merge ancient wisdom with modern technology to regenerate soil and reconnect people with the land, advocating for soil's crucial role in climate change, food security, and sustainability discussions.
